The ride will start at 9am from the Kangaroo Valley Showground.
It will be a 30 kilometre moderate pace, medium, undulating mountain bike cycle using cycle paths, bitumen with some traffic and unsealed road.
There will be two ford crossings and one significant hill.
The ride follows the Upper Kangaroo River past farmland and rainforest, with spectacular views of the sandstone escarpment to reach a rock water hole.
Bring water, snacks and swimmers.

Last Sunday 12 cyclists started a ride at the Nowra Tourist Information Centre and proceeded to Berry via the Princes Highway.
A leisurely breakfast was consumed and the cyclists then returned to Nowra via Back Forest Road.
Rain threatened but fortunately held off.
Except for a couple of minor mechanical difficulties along the way, it was a successful ride.
This Thursday’s midweek mountain bike ride on April 17 will start at 9am from Palm Beach, Sanctuary Point or from Kingfisher Point on Island Point Road at 10am.
Riders will travel along St Georges Basin via a bush track and cycle paths to Basin View, then into the Corramy State Reserve.
They will use bush track, bitumen with some traffic, and unsealed road.
Riders will stop for refreshments at Cafe Serendipity, Island Point Road, on the return.

This Saturday morning three road bike rides will start from the Nowra Visitors Centre – a 7am training ride and 8am social cycle to Greenwell Point, and an 8am easy mystery meander.

On Monday SBUG will ride to Berry for coffee.
It will be a 50 kilometre return road bike ride with some traffic mainly on back roads and rolling hills.
Starting from the Nowra Visitors Centre at 9am.

SBUG now havs two medium size mountain bikes for loan by members, their family or their friends.
