FEW probably would have expected the Gerringong Lions and the Milton-Ulladulla Bulldogs to be facing each other on the back of both teams having a loss, but that is the situation at Michael Cronin Oval on Saturday.

After having their opening round games postponed, both teams had their first hit out for 2014 last week.
The Lions were downed 16-12 in a scrappy game against Shellharbour, while Port Kembla got the monkey off their back much earlier this season after upsetting the Dogs 20-18.
However, it is not likely last week’s losses will have taken too much of a toll on either side and they will both be looking for a win to prove they will be top teams again in 2014.
Gerringong will probably go in as favourites on their home soil and will look to the likes of Brad Davidson and Patrick Cronin to give them direction.
The Bulldogs halves combination of Luke and Travis Young have a big part to play for their side, while they will look to the likes of Gary Warburton and AJ Hatch in the forwards.
