Anyone who attended Nowra High from first form in 1969 to sixth form in 1974 is invited to join a reunion on the long weekend in October this year.
Unlike today, high school years were called forms and most students left school at the age of 14 or 15 years to work or continue study at TAFE.
Young people did actually get jobs.
No matter when people left school, everyone is welcome to share stories, laughs and reminisce about the “good old times” in Nowra.
The weekend plans include a Friday night visit to the old watering hole, or Bridge Hotel, a dinner on Saturday night and a social golf and/or gathering on the Sunday.
If you were a student or teacher or have family or a friend in this group, the organisers would love you to forward more information.
Nowra High School 1969 to 1974 can be contacted on Facebook, “Nowra High School Class of 1974”, by email nhsreunion69to74@gmail.com or post PO Box 1346, Nowra.
