Conducted over the last two nights of swim club, the hotly contested age championships are the pinnacle of the swim season.
The championships start on March 27 with freestyle and backstroke, and conclude with breaststroke and butterfly on April 3.
To be eligible for placements in these events, swimmers must have attended at least 50 per cent of club nights during the season.
Good luck to all swimmers young and old.
On Saturday, March 22, Nowra Swimming Club members will compete at the Helensburgh Development Carnival.
This is a great carnival for all developing swimmers as it is conducted in a 25 metre pool.
Known for its carnival atmosphere, the Helensburgh carnival is a favourite for the club as it helps nurture the younger swimmers.
Get a good night’s sleep beforehand because the bus leaves at 6am sharp.
All the results for Nowra Swimming Club, including PBs, swimmer of the week, swimmer of the month and all the latest news are now uploaded onto the club website at www.nowra.swimming.org.au
