Despite not making the semi-finals, Ulladulla went out with a bang thanks to Bell, who combined with Aaron Wester (1/39) to have Nowra out for 226 in their first and only innings of the two day game.
Ulladulla’s Harley Bell had done the work with the bat for his team on day one with an unbeaten 107 runs.
Nowra had a steep 247 runs to chase down at the start of day two and got off to a good start thanks to 55 runs by Adam Ison.
Daniel Bryant’s 23 runs and Michael Coulter’s 32 all were solid scores on any other day, but Bell was unforgiving in his attack, and in his 18 overs slowly but surely cleaned up Nowra’s batsmen.
Nowra hung in there for 53 overs, but ultimately fell short on 226.
