In It to Win It are leading the competition after they had a good win over Spicks and Specks.
Nohopenhells went to second place aided by the bye they had, while MACK are in third place even though they were thrashed by The Deadly Assassins.
Nutters and Thunderbirds are in equal fourth place, though Thunderbirds have the bye tonight.
Results of round 16 were:
Nutters 12 1/2 points defeated Bitches 7 1/2 points
For Nutters, Colin Riley had all over average games of 126, 122, 121 for a 369 series, Isaac Riley had games of 142, 186, 176 for 504, Jody Jenner had games of 109, 127, 120 for 356, while Chloe Jenner had games of 114, 103, 98 for 315.
For Bitches, Ann McCudden had all over average games of 116, 136, 124 for a 376 series, Debbie Pickering had games of 150, 131, 157 for 438, Ingrid Sach had games of 125, 140, 155 for 420, while Julie Nicholls had games of 124, 155, 133 for 412.
In It to Win It defeated Spicks and Specks 14-6
For In It to Win It, Adam Richardson had all over average games of 88, 106, 83 for a 277 series, Cameron Arnold had games of 163, 144, 161 for 468, Lyn Carter had games of 107, 109, 86 for 302, while Glenn Corbett’s absent score gained them one point.
For Spicks and Specks, Val Dinnie had games of 111, 130, 111 for a 352 series, Neil Hawes had games of 88, 101, 110 for 299, Trevor Boyd had all under average games of 123, 116, 115 for 354, while Les Robinson took out the wooden spooner of the round award by bowling 33 pins under average in his games of 185, 143, 182 for 510.
The Screaming Banshees 11 1/2 points defeated Powerpins 8 1/2 points
For The Screaming Banshees, Siretta Dawson had all over average games of 155, 156, 159 for a 470 series, Robyn Quigley also had all over average games of 137, 132, 134 for 403, Joanne Boler had games of 116, 110, 131 for 357, while Debra Pypers had all under average games of 153, 121, 138 for 412.
For Powerpins, Adam Royston had all over average games of 143, 142, 136 for a 421 series, Matthew Tranter also had all over average games of 106, 131, 133 for 370, Glenn Cleary had games of 146, 118, 147 for 411, while Grant Wellard had all under average games of 95, 94, 83 for 272.

For Nohopenhells, Brett Sanson took out the star bowler of the round award by bowling 64 pins over average where he had all games over average with a 160, 160, 148 for a 468 series, Steve Edmonds had games of 109, 129, 150 for 388, Craig Robinson had games of 102, 116, 127 for 345, while Matt Whitehurst had all under average games of 97, 88, 95 for 280.
The Niners 16 1/2 points d Thunderbirds 3 1/2 points
For The Niners, Glenn Pollard had all over average games of 156, 193, 169 for a 518 series, Bob Doyle also had all over average games of 138, 124, 141 for 403, Ron Timbs had games of 171, 177, 124 for 472, while Leiland Friend’s absent score gained them all four points.
For Thunderbirds, Sue Collins had all over average games of 127, 165, 149 for a 441 series, Carl Henderson had all under average games of 122, 113, 115 for 350, Les Collins also had all under average games of 112, 107, 98 for 317, while Kathleen Morgan took out the wooden spooner of the round award bowling 38 pins under average where she had all games under average with a 118, 105, 115 for 338.
The Deadly Assassins defeated MACK 17-3
For The Deadly Assassins, Chris Purches had all over average games of 152, 123, 151 for a 426 series, Hal Johnston had games of 188, 173, 120 for 481, Peter Speller had games of 148, 165, 136 for 449, while Cara Cooper had games of 111, 110, 106 for 327.
For MACK, Cheyne Pons took out the star bowler of the round award by bowling 52 pins over average in her games of 169, 108, 107 for a 384 series, Ashleigh Miller had games of 113, 84, 125 for 322, Margaret Gardiner’s absent score didn’t gain them any points, while the vacant score gained them one point.
The 200 plus club award games, well I’m sorry to say there were none bowled in this round.

Well, before I sign off bowlers and readers, may I remind you all out there that officials are looking for one more team to even out the competition and you don’t have to be a good bowler to play in it as it’s based on handicap.
The cost is only $21 for three games plus there is money to be won on the first game on pick the score, also five meat raffles every week and great music to listen to while you are bowling.
Interested persons just turn up on Monday night at 5.45pm to Shoalhaven City Lanes, Narang Road, Bomaderry.
