This week 90 players teed off to try to help promote their team into the top division for the finals.
This week all scores of 18 points or better were enough to win a ball in the ball rundown.
Onto the team scores this week and a score of 68 from Chicks With Sticks was enough for 11 competition points.
Lawso’s Mob had a score of 69 that gained them 12 competition points.
Sunday Slammers continued on their merry way with a score of 74 to gain 13 competition points.
Birdies + 1 had a good week with a score of 76 to pick up 14 competition points. It’s Just a Game had a score of 82 to gain 15 competition points, while Social Sets’ score of 86 gained them 16 points.
This week’s runner-up was Lofty’s with a great score of 89 points.
In the individual scores this week Ian Paynter, Col Waller, Ed Alphabet, Steve Davidson, Lorraine Franklin, AJ Robinson and Matty Vout all had 19 points.
Greg Collins scored 20 points and Andrew Eagleton managed 22 points for his round.
This week’s runner-up on a countback with a score of 26 points was Matt Flannagan.
To the overall leaderboard, the top nine consist of the Pork Hunters on 146 tied with Chicks With Sticks on 146 points in eighth place.
Maddogs are in seventh place on 149 points, It’s Just a Game sit in sixth on 155 points, Heads Hotel and Social Set share fourth on 158, Lofty’s, after a solid week, sit third on 167 points, three behind Lawso’s Mob on 170.
The Sunday Slammers are along way out in front for the minor premiership on 198 points.
This week’s The Heads Golf Shop team of the week was the Heads Hotel with a score of 93 points.
This gained them the maximum 18 competition points and the team consists of Col Waller, Matty Vout, Lorraine and Kev Franklin, Ian Paynter, John Gilchrist, Dewayne Kingdom and David Bolt.
This week’s Taylor Made player of the week was Pete Bellman with a great score of 26 points.
Just a reminder that this week and next are the last two weeks of the normal rounds before the finals series starts and culminates in grand final day on Sunday, April 6.
