Hogs for Homeless was the brainchild of Fittler, who, in 2012 felt the need to create awareness and raise funds for homeless children.
The inaugural ride was held last year, with Fittler recruiting fellow rugby league legends Ian Schubert and Nathan Hindmarsh as they rode their Harley Davisdson motorcycles throughout NSW to raise funds for Youth off the Streets.
This year Shoalhaven was the first stop on the Hogs for Homeless schedule, with Filter joining NRL legends Matt Cooper and Nathan Hindmarsh as they met with fans and members of the St Georges Basin Junior Rugby League Club.
The team then headed further south before going out west to Wagga Wagga and surrounds, then north to Tamworth and the Gold Coast, finishing back in Sydney at ANZ Stadium on March 6 for the first round of the NRL season, South Sydney Rabbitohs v the Sydney Roosters.
