An apprentice with Shoalhaven City Council, Blake Aitken is a contender for the prestigious title of apprentice of the year and said he was completely blown away by the nomination.
“It’s pretty cool to get recognised as a trainee and it would be great to get the award,” he said.
“I’m shocked and just happy to have been put up for it.”
Just as excited about their nominations, Grant Morris and Justin Desousa from Endeavour Energy said they didn’t expect to be nominated.
“It’s pretty amazing,” Mr Morris said.
“It’s a privilege to be nominated, I’m just stoked,” Mr Desousa said.
