Man killed in highway accident

A 62-year-old man was killed in an accident on the Princes Highway in Batemans Bay on Saturday morning.

At 11.55am the man was travelling north in his Holden sedan when he collided with a Ford utility which was southbound.

The man, who was the driver of the Holden, was taken to Batemans Bay Hospital where he died.

A 53-year-old who was travelling in the utility suffered internal injuries and was also taken to hospital for treatment.

Police are investigating the accident.
