Buying your first home not as scary as it seems

MEMBERS of the local indigenous community will have the opportunity to get help buying their own home.

Indigenous Business Australia (IBA) will hold a free information session in Nowra to let local indigenous community members know how IBA might be able to assist them with affordable commencing home loan interest rates, low deposit requirements and supportive application processes.

Since its inception in 1975, IBA’s Indigenous Home Ownership program has provided more than 16,000 home loans to indigenous Australians.

The information session will be held at the South Coast Medical Service Aboriginal Corporation, 51-53 Berry Street, Nowra on Monday, February 24 between 9.30am and 3pm.

To register, phone Richard Burton on 5622 8865 or 0429 104436.
