Conducted by CareFlight, the free workshop will be held at Sussex Inlet RSL Club on Thursday, February 20 with sessions at 11am and 7pm.
Run by a combination of a doctor, paramedic and nurse, it will educate community members in airway management, severe haemorrhage control, spinal care, major burns and patient assessment.
Simulation and medical equipment including the custom made Car Crash Rescue Simulator will be on show.
CareFlight recommends that representatives from sport or service clubs come along and gain some knowledge in treating a trauma patient prior to emergency personnel arriving on the scene.
