A MAN who allegedly used his car to pin a woman against a fence and then continued to spin the wheels appeared in Nowra Local Court on Tuesday.

Steven Michael Ogden, 35, of Young Avenue, Nowra appeared before Magistrate Dr Gabriel Fleming over an incident in Jervis Street, East Nowra on November 19, where it was alleged he became involved in an argument with parents outside a school after nearly running over a child on the nature strip.
Police alleged Ogden then went to a nearby address in Wallace Street where he assaulted a woman and her son including using a Suzuki Vitara four-wheel-drive to ram the woman and pin her against a metal fence, while continuing to spin the wheels.
Appearing via video link from the South Coast Correctional Centre, Ogden faced a string of charges including threaten injury to a person with the intention of committing an indictable offence, use an offensive instrument, a motor vehicle, with the intent to commit the indictable offence of assault, drive while suspended, two counts of assault occasioning actual bodily harm, aggravated break and enter to commit an indictable offence, stalk and intimidate, furious driving causing bodily harm, burnout and affray.
Ogden did not apply for bail, which was formally refused by Magistrate Fleming, with the matter to be back in Nowra Local Court on February 18 for a reply to the charges.
