Firefighters are due to leave Friday afternoon and will be deployed to Renmark in South Australia's rural Riverland area about 254km north east of Adelaide, on the banks of the River Murray.
Up to 27 personnel from brigades throughout the Shoalhaven will head south.
They are expected to be deployed for at least five days.
