The fun is for children up to 12 years of age and the cost is $5 per child, with adults free.
The not-for-profit event has been staged for around 15 years and while it is hosted by the Nowra Lions Club, a number of other local Lions clubs also help out.
Children will be treated to a number of activities in a fun carnival atmosphere, with the event featuring rides including a trackless train, Ferris wheel, super slide and jumping castle.
Other attractions include face painting, free eye and hearing testing and identikits ($3), which is like a driver’s licence for youngsters.
There will be a free barbecue sausage lunch and drinks available, as well as other food stalls.
Lions’ zone chairman Bob Wright said the day was designed to be heaps of fun.
“It’s a great fun event for younger children,” Mr Wright said.
“It’s all aimed at providing younger children something to do and most importantly for them to have fun.”
Nowra Lions Club Kids’ Day Out will be held at the Nowra Showground this Sunday from 10am to 3pm.
