Nowra Police are searching for two men who attempted to steal the safe early Wednesday morning.
Police were called to the rear of the Sanctuary Point Pharmacy at 4.45am where they found a wall and balcony partially demolished after the thieves attempted to drag the safe out of the building.
The attempted theft follows a similar incident in November when a safe was pulled through the front doors of a hardware store at Sanctuary Point about 4.30am.
Investigations into both incidents are continuing.
