Dragonboat carnival in Nowra on Saturday

GREYS Beach will be swarming with activity on Saturday for the fourth race in the DBNSW dragonboat competition series on the Shoalhaven River.

The beach will be closed to boaters. However, spectators are welcome to join in the fun which will see 30 clubs compete from across NSW, including local speedsters Nowra Waterdragons.

A series of fast-paced 300-metre races will commence from 8.30am and information, food and coffee stalls will be available for everyone to enjoy.

Signs about the closure have been up around the area in the weeks leading up to the race.

For more information about the dragon boat regatta see page 15.
