THEY go by the names Scooby Doo, The Convict, Extreme, Raptors Rampage and Triple M Monster Truck.
On Saturday night they will strut their stuff at Nowra Showground.
The monster trucks are returning to Nowra “to pound the ground”, as their promotional material promises.
The EMT Events Monster Truck and FMX Freestyle Show will feature some of the most spectacular action seen in the local area.
Over recent weeks a number of the metal-crunching monsters have been on display around Nowra, promoting the show.
Saturday’s show will also feature American superstar Kreg Christensen, direct from New Zealand, where he has wowed fans.
The hard-core would recognise Kreg as one of the Maximum Destruction drivers on the globally popular Monster Jam Series.
And for the first time the Triple M Monster Truck will make the trip from Adelaide to complete a team of five of Australia’s best monster trucks.
Matt Schubring and his team of FMX Allstars will add to the action with their heart-stopping crazy upside down, inside out, freestyle motocross display.
And how could you forget the jet show, which is sure to impress, with not one but two jet cars going head to head.
The Mystery Machine, the world’s fastest van, carries a Russian Viper fighter jet engine, while Australia's latest jet machine - the Toyota Yaris - produces just over 1000 horsepower.
The Crackup Sisters, Bute and Struth, will return with their crazy antics, and a massive fireworks display will round out the evening.
Gates open at 4pm, the free pit party, which allows the kids and kids at heart to get up close and personal with the performers, drivers, riders and their respective machines is from 4.30pm with the show starting at 6pm for two and a half hours of non-stop fun.
Pre-sale tickets can be purchased through the hotline 0447 TRUCKS as well Auto Barn Nowra.
