It is understood this will come as a disappointment for many people who are frequent visitors to the park, but Park's Australia is ensuring it takes a cautious approach to re-opening the park.
The safety of elders and vulnerable residents of the Wreck Bay Aboriginal Community and Jervis Bay Territory, remains Park's Australia's highest priority.
Boat ramps in the park will remain inaccessible, and no camping, cycling, surfing, swimming or walking will be permitted.

Until the park is reopened, anyone who is not a Jervis Bay Territory resident cannot access the park.
Traffic management will be maintained at the entrance to the park, and regular patrols by park rangers will continue to ensure the park remains closed to those not permitted.
More than 700 people live within the Jervis Bay Territory (JBT), predominantly at Wreck Bay Village, Jervis Bay Village and at HMAS Creswell.
Residents of the territory are permitted to travel to and from the park providing they adhere to the JBT Emergency Management arrangements.
