A RECENT meeting between the English Premier League, English Football League and Professional Footballers' Association has seen all of England's football competition's suspended until at least April 30 - impacting the season of Huskisson's Adam Federici and his Stoke City side.

Following the announcement, all three organisations have continued to work together, in an effort to mitigate the off-field impact of the coronavirus epidemic, while also formulating a plan for the long-term future for all clubs impacted for the work stoppage.
Despite this, Potters coach Michael O'Neill plans to make the most of the enforced break from the 2019/20 English Championship season.
"Obviously, as a coaching staff we're starting to watch videos on players and things like that," O'Neill said to the Stoke City media team.
"But I think it's quite difficult to plan in any great detail because we don't know how the season may or may not finish.
"We don't know how it will affect potentially signing players going forward and what that means for existing players as well."
"So much uncertainty makes it difficult to plan with any great detail.
"But what we are looking at is players that have been monitored over the past year by the existing recruitment and scouting team and using our time to look at those players on video.
"That's essentially all we can do as a coaching staff."
During the 2019/20 season, in which the Potters currently sit 17th, Federici has made nine appearances for his club, which has seen him contribute 27 saves and two clean sheets.
