THE Super W semi-final between the ACT Brumbies, headlined by Bomaderry's Harriet Elleman and Narrawallee's Grace Sullivan, and Queensland Reds at Ballymore this weekend has been postponed, due to coronavirus concerns, until the weekend of May 23/24.

On top of that, all training for Super W has suspended until May 2 effective immediately - with all academy, state representative teams and state talent development programs following suit.

This means that programs and players will not have access to state union training facilities or group training schedules.
The Super W final, where the NSW Waratahs await, is re-scheduled for May 30/31 in Sydney.
There will be a final re-assessment on the decision to continue the finals made on Monday, April 27 at the latest.

"While this is a disappointing outcome, the safety and welfare of our players and staff is our number one priority, which is why we have made the decision to postpone the finals of Super W and suspend our academies and pathways teams," Rugby Australia chief executive Raelene Castle said.
"I'd like to thank the state unions, players and supporters for their understanding throughout this rapidly changing situation."
