Then Operation Walk to Talk which resumes this Friday (January 17) could be just the thing for you
Operation Walk to Talk is the brainchild of Rick Meehan and Fred Campbell from the Keith Payne VC Veterans Benefit Group.
And while the walk is primarily aimed at current or former military personnel, the event is open to anyone.
The walk starts at the Shoalhaven Entertainment Centre from 7.30am.
"Everyone is welcome to come along and take part," said chairman Rick Meehan
"It's all about getting people out and getting together and enjoying a walk. And at the end we all get to enjoy a brew, be it coffee, tea or a cool drink."
Launched late last year Operation Walk to Talk joins the successful Men's Walk programs in both Wollongong and Kiama.
It includes a leisurely stroll through Harry Sawkins Park and in 2020 aims to expand with walks to other areas, in and around the entertainment centre precinct.
"While it is primarily a group for Shoalhaven-based veterans, both current and former, the walks are also open to all members of the public, male and female," Mr Meehan said.
"Our couple of initial walks last month prior to Christmas both proved popular.

"It's a way of getting like-minded people together. Veterans, many of whom have been through the same things and might suffer the same issues.
"But also civilians - all are welcome, the more the merrier."
This Friday's event will be the first of what is planned to be weekly Operation Walk to Talk events for 2020.
