The choppers are helping fire crews manage a backburn west of Riverdale Road and an active spotover, east of Riverdale Road, RFS public liason officer Angela Daly said.
"Aircraft are assisting crews to mop up these fires," she said.
"Crews will continue to work in that area today, as we have a reduced fire danger rating, which gives crews time to work on containing fires.
"There is no immediate threat to lives or property at this time."
Residents in the area are advised to stay up to date and monitor conditions, ahead of deteriorating weather on Friday.
"It's not forecast to be as bad as it was last week [Saturday, January 4], but it will be difficult," Ms Daly said.
