Hello, I'm Besse and I was surrendered to the shelter by my family when they could no longer care for me.
I'm a happy girl but I can be a bit unsure in new situations. I would love a family who will continue my socialising with both people and new animals so I can be the best dog I can be.
I do need some basic training, especially walking on a lead. A big daily walk around the neighbourhood will help me to learn that going for walks is a fun thing to do.
I've made some friends at the shelter and love hanging out with them all day, so if you have a doggie friend at home for me please bring them in so we can make sure we get along.
I do admit that I prefer males rather than females.
I'm a high energy girl so an active family who'll take me on regular trips to the park or beach, plus playtime in the backyard is what I'm hoping for.
I'd love to be allowed inside with my family hanging out in the lounge room watching Netflix.
I've been told I can not go to a home with livestock as I find them very interesting and love to bark at them. I may be okay with cats but a slow introduction is always best so we can get to know each other.
If you think I'm the perfect girl for you then come on in and meet me.
