Michael Doyle, 43, pleaded guilty to embezzling as a clerk or servant in Nowra Local Court on March 11, his first appearance in court.
In court on Tuesday, November 12, under the Mental Health Act, Magistrate Gabriel Fleming dismissed the charge and discharged Doyle into the care of a doctor for six months.
Court papers said between December 20, 2013 and September 17, 2018 he embezzled $9998.57 from the account of the St Georges Basin Rural Fire Brigade.
