A Bomaderry man who returned a breath reading three times the limit didn't know how much alcohol he had drunk according to police.

Daniel Shane Adams, 19, pleaded guilty to high range drink driving in Nowra Local Court on October 28.
Court papers said South Coast Police stopped Adams' vehicle around 11.30pm on September 25 after it left the nearby North Nowra Tavern.
He returned a positive breath test and later a breath reading of 0.150,
He told police he had no knowledge of how much alcohol he had consumed or his level of intoxication.
In a letter to the court, Adams said he was "appalled by his actions and was deeply sorry".
"It was a reckless action and I accept responsibility," he said.
"It has had a major impact on my life and work commitments,"
Magistrate Gabriel Fleming fined Adams $1200, disqualified him from driving for six months and ordered he have an interlock device fitted to his vehicle for two years.
