Kane Robertson, 28, pleaded guilty to using or possessing a mobile phone in a place of detention in Nowra Local Court before Magistrate Gabriel Fleming on Monday, October 28.
Court papers said Robertson was caught with a mobile phone and USB charger and charger cable at the South Nowra Jail between 5.20pm and 5.50pm on June 3.
A further charge of possessing a mobile phone was withdrawn and dismissed.
