The Berry men claimed their third consecutive premiership title with a hard-fought 3-1 win over St Georges Basin, while the Magpies' women brought the fantastic run of the Burrawang Banksias' dominating year to an end with a thrilling 2-1 win.
The men started the day of mixed conditions at the Shoalhaven Regional Hockey Complex at the Bernie Regan Sporting Complex at North Nowra, with the teams having to deal with hot and humid conditions, rain, wind and even a quick storm.
After an extremely tight opening quarter, the sides were locked at nil-all.

Basin probably had the better of the play and took the game right up to the two-time defending champions and despite creating a few chances the sides remained locked nil-all at half-time.
Berry took the lead early in the third quarter through Jake Laidlaw and the Magpies slowly started getting on top.
With 14 minutes remaining Berry went 2-nil up when the men's competition's leading scorer Myles Burke slotted home a well-taken goal from the top of the circle.
Now on a roll, Berry pushed for the killer blow, which came with eight minutes remaining in the third quarter when good interplay between Laidlaw and Mark "Sticks" Croker saw Laidlaw free in the circle and he managed to chip the advancing Basin keeper Scott Gee to make it 3-nil which was the three quarter time score.
Basin came out hard in the final quarter and really took the game to Berry, who had to rally with three players receiving cards and time on the sideline.
To Basin's credit, they put Berry under a lot of pressure and with just over two and a half minutes remaining Lachlan Butfield scored a screamer of a goal for a 3-1 scoreline and despite Basin finishing with a wet sail Berry hung on to score a three-peat.
Berry women make it a double
The Burrawang ladies had an outstanding year only losing one game during the regular season.
However the Banksias' dream of completing the minor premiership/premiership double were dashed in a thrilling encounter by Berry, who were the only side to defeat them in competition rounds.
The Banksias jumped out of the blocks with the competition's leading goal scorer Sam Badgery slamming home a goal in the first few minutes.
Berry then clicked into gear and put enormous pressure on the Banksias, in fact at one stage the Magpies had four short corners in succession, but to the Highlanders' credit, their defence held firm.
With a minute and a half remaining, Berry got on the board with Suzi Jarman putting away the equaliser after a scramble in front of goal.
The sides were locked 1-all at quarter time and the second quarter was a real arm wrestle.
Both sides had chances but the respective defences held firm.
The Banksias put Berry under immense pressure at one stage with five short corners in a row but the scores remained locked at half-time.
The keen contest continued in the third quarter with neither side, despite plenty of attacking opportunities, being able to break the deadlock.
With seven and a half minutes remaining Berry stalwart Jodie Simms scored the winner.
A well-worked short corner variation saw the ball go back to Elle Dodd, who had pushed out the ball, and her shot across the face of goal was cleaned up by Simms for the winner.
The Banksias threw everything at the Magpies in the last five minutes but the defence held firm for a thrilling 2-1 win.
Following the games, the minor premiership and premiership shields were presented to the winners.
Berry's Myles Burke (25) and Burrawang's Sam Badgery (26) were acknowledged as the competition's leading scorers with Burrawang's Jack Donovan and Basin's Tiarna Grzona taking out the men's and women's most valuable player awards.
