The Wolves kick off their NPL Finals campaign at home, with the NSW premiers taking on Capital Football's Canberra Olympic in the opening round of the knockout competition.
With the tournament coming after Wollongong's NSW finals campaign ended with two shock losses, coach Luke Wilkshire said they are determined to finish their season in winning fashion.
"After a great season, winning the premiership, to go out in the finals series on a loss doesn't sit well, it leaves a bitter taste in our mouths," Wilkshire said.
"This gives us an opportunity to finish the season off on a high with a victory. There's nothing worse than finishing a good season with a loss, the challenge is now to go and win the next three games."
Like Wollongong, Canberra Olympic also struggled in their finals series, the side losing two matches to miss out on the ACT grand final.

Wilkshire acknowledged his team was not quite prepared for the intensity of finals football, however he said the Wolves have learnt a lot from the experience.
"We have to play to our strengths, to our quality, by having that same hunger and desire to win the game of football that we've had for a large part of the season.
"What let us down was a little bit of naivety against clubs in the playoffs. It hurts, but players have learnt from it and this is a great opportunity to bounce back from that and show we can play finals football."
