This exquisite competition will test the men and women on waves of perfection nearly 100 miles inland at Lemoore, California, to bring out their very best when it matters most with the World Title race, CT qualification and Olympic Games 2020 Tokyo implications on the line at the Surf Ranch from September 19-21.
Wright, fresh off wining his maiden Tahiti Pro Teahupo'o title, will start his assault on the three-day event in the round of 36, while Fitzgibbons is in the round of 18.
Each surfer's top-three left and right hand rides will be collaborated, which will determine who will progress to the next round.
Heading into this event, Culburra Beach Boardriders' Wright currently sits in eighth in the world rankings, while Kiama High School alumna Fitzgibbons in second.
