The topic is Parterres, Knot Gardens, Labyrinths and Mazes. On a similar theme, Bob Death is presenting a session on Honey and Bees incorporating information about bees' vital role in our eco-support system.
These are just two of many fascinating courses in the third term that runs from Monday, July 29 to Friday, September 20.
If you have ever wanted to learn Bridge, there is no better time than in the eight week Introductory Course organised and taught for U3A by the Nowra Bridge Club.
Peter Tallent also returns to convey up to date information about Manildra, Nowra's biggest manufacturing facility.
While based in Nowra, U3A Shoalhaven aims to include sessions in outer areas also.
There are family history sessions at Pyree, a National Science Week information session at Jervis Bay Maritime Museum, and history at Culburra Beach and Huskisson.
There is a mosaic class at Huskisson and popular presenter, Dr Vincenzo Cincotta, will present two sessions on an opera, The Masked Ball, at Berry.
A special presentation will occur on Tuesday, September 17 when Steve Swan conducts two sessions on Dementia - Awareness and Understanding. A light lunch is included.
The above are in addition to the regular program with its many individual and continuing courses.

Enrolment may be completed on line via the website from July 17 and on enrolment days at the address above on Thursday 18 and Friday, July 19 from 10:30am to 2.30pm.
Enrolments may also be posted or left in the No 5 U3A mailbox inside the entrance to 48 Berry Street.
