Hundreds packed the Nowra Showgrounds for the 2019 NAIDOC Week Funday. Face painting, a jumping castle, live music, crocodiles and the Koori cook-off were just some of the activities families enjoyed.

And anyone with a good appetite would have been well served - not just at the cook-off, but any of the many stalls from community organisations offering barbecues, stews, and desserts - Ngarra Williams was spotted offering delectable brownie bites to the crowd.
The only thing brighter than the sunshine was the pride in family, culture and community on display.
NAIDOC is a nationally celebrated week dedicated to recognising and sharing the rich and diverse culture of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Australians and the contribution they have and continue to make to our society.
This year NAIDOC week will run from July 7 - 14. The theme is 'Voice, Treaty, Truth'.
