Volunteers did an incredible job in catering for the well-attended event.
About 60 people in attendance loaded their plates with Christmas dishes including a wide array of salads and meat.
Bomaderry's Raewyn Taurua who was working in the kitchen on Friday was named Meals on Wheels Nowra-Bomaderry Volunteer of the Year 2018.
Rae was shocked to be named as Volunteer of the Year.
After about five years of service to the community, she said it was the people who sustained her interest in volunteering.
“We love all the people here, we love coming in and being together,” Rae said.
Meals on Wheels volunteers and clients socialised and broke bread together.
There was light entertainment from pianist and singer Julie Sexton.
The Shoalhaven Performance Troupe was the main entertainment.
