After being sent in, Norths started their innings strongly thanks to openers Justin Weller (41) and Samuel Lowcock (11).
Lowcock eventually fell with the score on 41, bringing Nick McDonald to the crease.
McDonald and Weller put on another 20 runs before the latter was out, with the score on 61.
This wicket triggered a collapse, as Norths lost 9/4 to be all out for 65 – with Jono Clack and Brad Ison taking 4/13.
Chasing the small target, Justin Wallace (14) got the hosts off to a solid start.
Handy contributions from Clack (21) and Lewis O’Brien (13 not out) nearly got Nowra home but they would fall one agonising run short – all out for 64.
The two standouts for Norths with the white ball were Weller (2/8) and McDonald (2/11).
