A local Indigenous dancing group from Vincentia High performed traditional dances to a standing ovation from the crowd.
Dog lovers were encouraged to bring their pooches along, and entered them in various fun competitions.
The parade was a hit, with Sussex Inlet River Dragons stealing the show, and winning the best float prize.
Upon accepting the prize, a spokeswoman praised the Lions Club for the incredible turn out, and encouraged all to give dragon boating a go with their club.
The Shoalhaven Line dancers entertained the crowd, and had everyone up and dancing to an old-time favourite, the Nut Bush.
