The ordinary meeting will take place at Nowra council chambers at 5pm.
After being condemned for providing little to no notice about the adjournment Cr Joanna Gash took to Facebook to clarify she had cited her intentions to attend the Liberal Party meeting a week prior to the council meeting.
However, members of the community joined the chorus of voices disappointed with the decision to postpone the bulk of the council meeting.
“It is not okay to cancel a council meeting for any political party function Joanna,” Pauline Berry from Nowra said.
"Very disappointing, but at least we know where the priorities of the Liberal Party lie.”
When a journalist confronted the premier about the walk out, Ms Berejiklian dismissed the matter.
“I don’t know anything about that, it’s an issue for council,” she said.
Kiama MP Gareth Ward emphasised the four councillors were never endorsed by the Liberal Party when running for council, and they were in fact independents.
