Daniel Compton, 46, did not enter pleas to charges of breaking and entering, damaging property and two counts of knowingly deal with the proceeds of crime in Nowra Local Court on Friday, March 23.
Court papers said Compton allegedly broke into the Shoalhaven District Senior Citizens Centre in Berry Street, Nowra between March 5-6 this year.
It is alleged he damaged a window to gain access to the centre and stole $140.
When arrested on March 22 he had $6003 and a pair of Nike shoes, which police alleged were the proceeds of crime.
He will reappear in court on May 22.
