The work will be undertaken from approximately 260m to 700m north of Coolangatta Road, including the replacement of the culvert from Coomonderry Swamp.
The works are expected to be completed July 2018 (weather permitting).
Works will be undertaken in conjunction with the current works on the Bolong and Coolangatta Road intersection by contractors Select Civil Pty Ltd.
Traffic control will be in place during the works.
It should be noted that when the culvert is being replaced full road closure will be necessary between Coolangatta Road and Gerroa Road for up to six weeks.
The closure is currently programmed from mid-April.
Through traffic to Nowra/Gerroa will be directed via Berry along Beach Road and Coolangatta Road.
Local traffic would be able to access Shoalhaven Heads as usual from the north via Gerroa Road to Scott Street and Towers Road.
