At the moment, the herd is split.
There is a Nowra Relay For Life display, and a Nowra Red Hat Society display, to celebrate the group’s fourth birthday on March 8.
“We’re here for women aged 50 and over looking for fun, frivolity and friendship,” Bev Chater said.
“It’s about positive ageing.
“It’s amazing how it boosts many of the ladies’ self esteem.”
There are more than 80 members who meet on the second Thursday of each month.
Scott Parker from Turfco was “hounded” by his mum for years to paint the cows for their group.
“We’re in high demand,” he said.
“We like to have a bit of fun with them.
“We woke up one morning, and one of them was at the front door of my house.
“We were moving them at night, and the police came up with flashing lights, someone had called the cops. I had to explain to them they’re my cows.”
