Berry bypass results in slight decline in trade for businesses in town.
A specialist accountant group released projections that 92 Southern Highlands and Shoalhaven businesses are at risk of imminent collapse, with hospitality in hot water. “The recent completion of the Berry bypass has resulted in less traffic travelling through the town centre,” SV Partners director Darren Vardy said. “While we are awaiting to properly assess the financial impact of the bypass to the community, businesses are already reporting declines of around 10 per cent.”
