Samuel Alan Peke, 30, has appeared in Nowra Local Court.
Court papers said between 11.14pm and 11.52pm on February 3 at South Nowra, a witness saw a Holden Captiva travelling south on the Princes Highway near Central Avenue.
Court papers said the vehicle was swerving between lanes and travelling incredibly slowly.
Further south at the Warra Warra Road roundabout, the car drove over the inside kerb without braking, causing the vehicle to suffer a flat tyre.
When police arrived, the car was parked on the edge of the road with Peke still sitting in the driver’s seat.
He produced a positive breath test and later a breath analysis reading of 0.2.
Peke told officers he had consumed 14 stubbies of Corona beer at the North Nowra Tavern and at a home in Nowra.
Papers said during that time he had only consumed some hot chips and part of a burger.
Peke will reappear in court on March 26.
