Gregg Schouten, 52, of Glenfield, faced charges of police pursuit, disobeying a direction, reckless driving and resisting arrest in Campbelltown Local Court.
Court papers said the charges stemmed from an incident at Sanctuary Point around 9pm on August 7, 2017 when police attempted to stop a Holden utility for random breath test.
The driver allegedly failed to stop.
Police again tried to stop the vehicle during a 10-minute pursuit, covering 20 kilometres from The Wool Road and Larmer Avenue, Sanctuary Point to Old Erowal Bay.
The vehicle was eventually stopped but Schouten resisted the attempts of two officers to arrest him.
Magistrate Carolyn Huntsman convicted Schouten of the police pursuit, reckless driving and resisting arrest and disqualified him from driving for 12 months and placed him on a two-year good behavior bond.
She also convicted him of disobeying a direction but did not impose a penalty.
