In 2018, the AFLSC is pleased to unveil that their will be the inaugural women’s competition, which will run alongside the two senior men’s grades.
More than 150 people attended the season launch, including MC Matt Graham, Mayor of Kiama Cr Mark Honey and chair of AFL South Coast Oscar Gregory.
Also in attendance were former GWS Giants ruckmen Shane Mumford and Sydney Swans players Dane Rampe, Tom Papley, Will Hayward, James Rose, Toby Pink, Sam Reid, Kieran Jack, Jake Lloyd and James Bell – Shellharbour Swans product.
The competition is slated to start on Saturday, April 7.
