A Nowra man who broke into a woman’s house, allegedly assaulted her and threatened her with a syringe in a domestic violence related incident has appeared in court.

Luke Close, 31, has not enter pleas to charges of aggravated break and enter to commit a serious indictable offence, two counts of assault occasioning actual bodily harm, damaging property, two counts of contravening an apprehended violence order, using an offensive weapon with intent to commit an indictable offence and entering inclosed lands without permission.
Police said the charges stem from an alleged incident in Samuel Street, Bomaderry on December 22 last year.
It is alleged between 8am and 8.15am Close broke into the woman’s home, assaulted her, damaged her mobile phone and used a syringe with a needle attached to threaten her.
Magistrate Gabriel Fleming continued Close’s bail and the matter will be back in court on March 20.
