Thirty volunteers lent a hand to set up for the years project. This involved propagating 500 Casuarina trees and 300 Lomandras for planting out next year.
Another team cut up 500 metres of geofabric in preparation for sand-sausage construction and a third team did modifications to the sand sausage formwork and brackets.
The mornings work finished with a barbecue lunch and lots of socialising.
The working bees are open to everyone, so if you are interested, contact Peter Jirgens on 0488 460 011.
