Children, their parents and their carers all joined in the fun and water fight with sponges was the most popular event.
Sanctuary Point Connect offers a range of services including parenting courses, facilitated playgroups, support and referrals and its focus is on families with children (newborns to eight-years-of-age).
Sanctuary Point Connect was opened in 2006 and is currently facilitated by Christine McInerney Percy.

The centre is part of the Schools as Community Centres (SaCC) project which uses a community development approach to link families with their local schools.
