Phil Muller starred in the beach category, with eight fish (four species at 5.584kg, including one salmon at 1.092kg), while Barry Muller dominated the deep sea section with 10 fish (five species at 4.964kg, including one leatherjacket at 0.696kg).
Standouts in estuary were Glen Edwards (17 fish, five species at 7.225kg, one mullet at 0.878kg), Charlie Gleeson (one bream at 0.536kg), Ron Smith (three fish, two species at 1.264kg, one bream at 0.634kg) and Malcolm Keevers (eight fish, four species at 2.990kg, one bream at 0.386kg).
Award winners were Glen Edwards (winner), Barry Muller (runner-up), Ron Smith (biggest bream), Phil Muller (mystery weight) and John Muller (mystery fishermen)
Competition nine (beach only) will be held on February 24 and 25 – with mulloway as fish of the month.
