The activity, called Shrinky Dinks, involved colouring recycled plastic and shrinking it down to make trinkets such as key-rings and badges.
There were more than a dozen kids and their parents there.
Some kids made key-rings, presents for their mothers.
It was one of many boredom busters hosted by Shoalhaven City Council this school holidays.
On Wednesday at 10.30am the Sanctuary Point library will host a collage self portrait workshop.
Kids can use paint and collage techniques to create a work of art.
Meanwhile, the Sanctuary Point library will host a foil sculpture school holiday workshop on January 17 at 10.30am.
