Hot temperatures made it a must to be near the water. The wind got up on Saturday which made it pretty bumpy with Sunday a little calmer.
The had 18 fishermen get a line in the water that had fish to weigh-in on Sunday including five juniors.
12 anglers fished in the beach rock and estuary division, with six in the deep sea – with a total of 108 fish making the scales.
Fish caught this month included bream, flathead, mullet, morwong, wrasse, snapper, flounder, nannygai, red rock cod, leather jacket, groper, drummer, garfish, whiting, luderick and tailor.
Winners in the deep sea section were Vince Henebery (first), Jim Paterson (second) and Jim Field (third), while the top three in the beach, rock and estuary division were Steve Wellington (first), Arthur Bowles (second) and Michael Daldy (third).
In the junior section, William Dunn was the winner, ahead of Madyline Daldy, Olivia Daldy, Kaide Bell and Ben Dunn.
