A three metre great white shark was detected off Huskisson by the Department of Primary Industries at around 11.30am on Wednesday.

On Saturday, Racecourse Beach was evacuated after an unidentified 2m shark was spotted at around 8am.
At the same time, a 2m whaler shark was spotted off the coast of Wairo Beach, just south of Ulladulla near Dolphin Point.
There were no swimmers or surfers in the water at the time.
The shark and whale sightings were reported on the ‘SharkSmart’ Twitter feed.
The feed is a series of tips and information from the NSW government to help reduce your risk of shark attack - including live tweets from tagged sharks.
